Collection: Pollen

Our plants selected as pollen donors are from genetics obtained at with complete disregard for cost. We base our selections for baseline genetics on plants that are top tier in their traits and are considered best-in-class. We don’t stop there though; we don’t believe it till we see it, so every potential baseline is grown to full flower and tested to ensure it meets our requirements. Out of all these tests, we only keep the best; the top 5% are kept for breeding or become part of our main lines.

Our pollen is carefully collected from male flowers that are carefully dried and sifted through a 70 micron screen to remove all plant matter, mixed with desiccant, and stored in the coldest freezer I can find surrounded by more desiccant. I have successfully used pollen years later after storage. We grow our males 100% indoors and ensure there is only 1 pollen source available in the space. This guarantees we know what the pollen is when it is collected and labeled.
